International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence applications in Urology is organized to apprise, sensitize, and excite practicing urologists in an easy-to-understand syntax. This 6-hour long event is being conducted by a galaxy of National and international experts in the field who are early adopters of these technologies in their practice. Through this symposium we will endeavor to address recent, exciting, and impactful developments in the field which have the potential to drastically affect urologists' work and personal lives.
The faculty will simplify complex topics with examples and the interactive format of the symposium will ensure that the participants can grasp the essential information effectively.
To accommodate speakers from different time zones the program would start with four state of art lectures webcasted live and the latter half of the day would be devoted to close physical interaction with the national faculty who would conduct a foundation course on the subject. This symposium is likely to benefit younger and senior urologists alike
The symposium is structured around three main segments.
1. Recent Developments in AI in Urology:
This segment will give an overview on the various advancements in the field of AI relevant to a urologist.
2. Embracing AI Developments
This will guide urologists on how they can adapt and embrace technology proactively without suffering technophobia. This segment would provide insights into how to integrate AI-friendly data practices, blueprint for collaboration and technics to integrate AI-driven solutions in the existing workflows without any disruptions to patient care. Lessons on data privacy, security and conforming to high ethical and regulatory standards would be of immense value.
3. Impact on Clinical Practice and Personal Lives
It is unlikely that computers and machines will replace a Urologist, but it is inevitable that non-AI trained urologists will be replaced by the ones who are AI trained, as has happened in the field of robotic surgery in the past decade. The segment will highlight potential benefits, challenges, and opportunities and how urologists could prepare themselves for this transformative shift. As much as we need AI, the AI models are incapable of performing at their full potential of correct pattern recognition and making accurate predictions unless real life situation's human feedback is available to them by Inverse Reinforced Human Feedback loop (IRHF) making us more responsible.
