Customised Dialysis

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach developed for an average person, we provide customized hemodialysis prescription to pursue a personalized approach that is more effective for the patients according to their unique characteristics. Every concern and need of the patient who undergoes dialysis in our dialysis unit is catered. We use biocompatible, synthetic (e.g., polysulfone, polyacrylonitrile, polymethylmethacrylate) hollow fiber dialyzers (dialysis filter). Surface area of the dialyzers is chosen based on the required dialysis dose and the body size of the patient. Large surface area dialyzers are avoided in pediatric patients and adult patients with small body size. The dose of anticoagulant (HEPARIN) is individualised strictly depending on patient weight and as per doctor instructions only. The most common cause of death in hemodialysis patients is cardiovascular disease.
